A big thank you to all those who helped make this a fantastic event. It was enjoyed by all who attended. The cast deserve thanks and praise for all their hard work and dedication. For those of you who were unable to join us - here is a little bit about what you missed. The show took us back to the electric 80s: to the era of big hair, bright clothes, ghetto blasters, light sabres and the same teenage love stories. The show looked through the eyes of Corey Palmer during his final year at William Ocean High School. Music from the 80s was used throughout the show. The class went through its ups and downs but in the end everyone enjoyed their final year at William Ocean High. The cast, although very tired, totally enjoyed the experience and want to be involved in another show. With enthusiasm still high, we are putting on some fund raising events over the next few months, which will keep the group together to enjoy more relaxed activities. If you came to the show and would like to be involved in the next one, auditions will take place in September. We are hoping to perform FAME on the 7th February 2009 with an under 11’s dance and chorus group joining the cast. So watch out for details. |
