Mix and Mingle

We have been serving coffee, tea and orange squash after morning service for 20 years, and it has proved to be a very popular time to chat to friends

To give this service, we have 52 volunteers, who work in teams of 5, thus doing one week in ten. As a matter of interest about 20 of them are original volunteers: quite a record, and I think they deserve our special thanks. As I am sure you must have noticed, we do not have a retirement age, nor is any adult too young and all help is gratefully received.

Each team arrives at church about 9.30am to prepare the kitchen before going into church. They then return near the end of the service to make the drinks and prepare the Legh room.

Donations are received each week to defray the costs and any excess of income over expenditure is given to church funds, a full record is kept of all transactions.
