Looking back
The sun shone for 2 hours on 10th July–remember? Simply because it was the Norbury Picnic! A lovely relaxed laze in the sunshine in the Church grounds whilst we all munched our butties and the energetic did things with bats and balls!
And then we had another great evening at the 'Rising Sun' on 18th August with our regular Drop in for a Drink event. A great mix of people and lots of chance to talk to those you never get chance to talk to normally–new friendships formed and lots of fun!
Looking forward
Our next Drop in for a Drink will be at the 'Rising Sun' on Thursday 1st December from 7.30pm and, as usual, everyone will be most welcome to come along.

NORBURY'S GOT TALENT!
A great evening of entertainment given by members of Norbury displaying talents you never knew existed! Songs, sketches, maybe the odd acrobat? – a veritable cabaret!
If you’d like to take part, entry forms for your party piece are available at church – the closing date is 16th October.
And if you’re not treading the boards, then come along and watch – tickets on sale after the morning services.
The tickets include refreshments and are priced at:
- for non-performers, £5
- for under-16s and performers, £3
- for immediate families, £15
