PCC Funds
- General Fund
- All church income and expenditure administered by the PCC. Some gifts
allow tax reclamation.
- Youth Council Fund
- Income from children's collections and activities. Expenditure on
children's activities and grants.
- Churchyard Fund
- Churchyard fees and appeals income. Trading fund for wages, expenses,
maintenance and development of churchyard. Some gifts allow tax to be
reclaimed.
- Narthex Fund
- Trading fund for hire fees for use of Narthex and Church rooms.
Running expenses and maintenance of Narthex and Church Rooms.
- Verger
- Wedding and Funeral receipts and disbursements, and petty cash
payments administered by the Verger. Balances are transferred to the
Diocese and General and Churchyard funds monthly.
Associated Funds and Reserves
- Envelope Scheme
- Accounting of all gifts made through the Envelope scheme. Some gifts
allow recovery of tax. Provides income for the General fund
- Gift Aid
- Recovery of tax on all gifts with a Gift Aid Declaration. Tax
reclaimed is credited to the fund that received the original gift.
- General Reserve
- General repairs reserve. Part of the General fund.
- Organ Reserve
- Maintenance and development of church organ.
- Magazine Fund
- Trading fund for parish magazine sales and production. The end of year
balance is transferred to the General Fund.
- Bookstall Fund
- Trading fund for church bookstall.
- Flower Fund
- Trading fund for provision of church flowers and related
fittings.
Other Funds
The funds of the following organisations are not accountable to the PCC
but to their members and parent organisation. Income received from them by
the church is treated as general income unless specifically
designated.
- Mothers' Union
- Church Fellowship
- Men's Society
- Social Committee
- Bowling Club
- Cricket Club
- Lacrosse Club
Norbury Development Trust
The Norbury Development Trust is an independent registered charity no
509905 which raises and manages funds for the development and maintenance
of Norbury parish premises.
- Development Fund
- Expenditure on major church renovation and development
- Maintenance Fund
- Endowment fund producing income for expenditure on maintenance. Only
the interest on the capital may be used for this purpose
