Walking Plan
What began as one walk a month 18 years ago, has become 40 walks each year. Distances range from 2 miles up to 10 or even more. If you would like to join us, you will be made most welcome.
September 2012
Our programme for September comprises:
6th WINCLE (4/5 miles)
Sue Stephenson (01625 876285) will lead. Meet in our church car park at 9.30am and bring a picnic.
13th STYPERSON (7 miles)
Kathleen will lead. Meet in our church car park at 9.30am and bring a picnic.
20th HIGH LANE (2 miles)
This popular walk will be led by a popular leader Geoff Fallows (01625 878542). Catch the 199 bus at 10.50am from the Rising Sun. Pub or picnic lunch. Please bring a picnic if you want to join the optional afternoon walk back to Hazel Grove.
Our second MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
Again, it will be held at the home of Elaine Sykes, 59 Torkington Road, from 10am to 12noon. There will be a raffle and a cake stall. Please support this worthy cause.
