TEAR Fund TearFund is a Christian charity working all over the world, not just emergency and disaster relief, although of course they are involved in this work, but in long term projects to benefit the poor and marginalised all over the world. Wood Street Mission We collect items of clothing, household goods and baby equipment for collection by the Wood Street Mission from 20 Lyndhurst Avenue on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
The Wellspring A local relief charity providing food and services to homeless people in Stockport every day. Over the last 2 years staff at The Wellspring have found housing for over 200 people who have all been sleeping rough in Stockport at some time.
