Bible Study - Postscript
- During the past four weeks we have shared the prayer life of many
different people in both the Old and New Testaments. You may have been
encouraged to try something new in prayer - meditation, using a prayer
diary, praying with a partner or in a group, even leading the prayer
during a service at Church.
- We have lots of examples to follow, but primarily comes the example
of Jesus himself. Luke 5:16 tells us that Jesus OFTEN withdrew to
lonely places and prayed.
- It is after times of quiet, alone with the Lord that the family
likeness starts to show. Jesus said 'I am the light of the
world'. He also said 'You are the light of the world'.
- When the light and love of Jesus are shown in our lives others are
drawn to him.

And the love of God
And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
Be with us all evermore.
