Back to Church Sunday

Have you lost touch with church? It can easily happen! Well, Sunday 28th September is the perfect opportunity to come back! Norbury, along with thousands of churches up and down the country is taking part in ‘Back to Church’ Sunday and is offering you an especially warm welcome to the 10.15am Communion service that day.

People stop going to church for many different reasons such as moving away from a familiar and comfortable church or simply getting out of the habit. It has been said that the largest single group of Christians in the UK are those who have stopped going to church!

Stuart Dormand from Wakefield was invited by a friend to a ‘Back to Church’ service at a church at Christ Church, South Osset, a couple of years ago and has been a regular member of the congregation ever since. He says; “Going back to church for me was the best decision I have ever made – I really love it. I would never even have considered it without the invite.”

So, if you have ‘got out of the habit’, for whatever reason, we extend you the warmest of welcomes to come and join us and, you never know, it could be the start of a whole new experience!
