After the morning service on Sunday, 23rd July 2006, the new lawn garden of remembrance was dedicated by the vicar, Canon Martin Collins, aided by the assistant verger, Norman Allen.

Water from the preceding service of infant baptism was poured on the ground to remind us of the Christian belief in eternal life after death.
