Training Opportunities |

|---|---|---|
Why Train?Training, along with the many other aspects of ministry and fellowship in the church, is an important element in the development and growth of individual members and of the membership as a whole, whether or not they have any special responsibilities. You are all encouraged to undertake training run by the Chester Diocese for your need. A wide range of subjects is available. Whatever you are involved in at Norbury, there is almost certain to be a training course for your particular interest - courses in personal development, courses to help strengthen your faith, counselling courses, training for work with children and teenagers, and teaching about the workings of the Church of England and its hierarchy. At Norbury we try to ensure that if you need training, we will do our best to find the right course for you. |
Selecting the CourseThere is a file at the back of the church with leaflets about the various courses available for your perusal. A Training Round Up magazine published by COMET (Committee for Ministry, Education and Training) is also available. Please look at these and if I can be of any assistance in locating a course for you, or if you become aware of other courses that may be of interest, please let me know. FeedbackIf you have been on a training course this year, perhaps you could let me have some feedback. Many thanks. Maureen Hughes |
